Can anything else go wrong??!!!

OK, tell me why after all I've been through do I get a call from Dr. Barajas's office today telling me that Aetna requested a letter saying as to why Dr. B is going to do the open procedure vs. the Lap procedure that was already certifed. They said something about re-certification. I was told by Aetna a few weeks ago that the procedure is certified, it really doesn't matter how they do it (open or lap). What's with this crapola? Can anyone help? Offer advice? I'm sure it is nothing, but with everything I've been through, I shouldn't be shocked. But, I know if Aetna decides to be ballbusters about this, they've picked the wrong person to **** off.

Hi Paul, Unfortunately I have no sage advice to offer! Just reading your post makes my blood boil. I sometimes wonder if the insurance companies do these things to make people give up! Well they picked the wrong people! Don't give up, hang in there - it's probably a minor blip. After all you've been through, this WILL happen for you!

Hey buddy, Hang in there kiddo, I know it seems like everything is happening all at once with you, but it will get better. Just keep positive and try to look past the ignorance of some of these people and companies. You have come this far and now you need to just be strong and fight all the obstacles.
