PLASTIC SURGERY QUESTIONS - HELP!!

I am hoping some of you have experience with the road to plastic surgery. Any idea on what it costs for a tummy tuck or the big "scuba lift"? I am thinking if I call for a consultation it will cost a fortune that my insurance is not going to pay. Also, any recommendations on doctors to get cost? I am just looking to ball park and see if there is any other info you guys might have. Thanks a bunch!

Of course, these are normal cases with normal outcomes, any complications will certainly add to the cost. Most plastic folks have photos on their web sites with examples of their work, I think it's best to shop around for someone that you feel comfortable with, and confident that they will do the best job for you. Thank you for your reply Steve. I am having my umbilical hernia fixed and the doc said for $5K more he would do the tummy tuck. I guess he is not really giving me a bargain. I should try to find out if I want the whole ball of wax later is it worth it to do the tummy tuck now or if all that has to be redone when and if I do the "whole bottom" lift. Thanks
