Is there an OH group that meets in CT?

I have a cottage at White Sands Beach. Perhaps we can meet sometime?

 We are practically neighbors. I am at Hawks Nest. Next time you are in the neighborhood we should meet. Do you go to the Ct Shoreline support group meetings. I went to my first one back in November and they all seemed like a good group of people.

Is the shoreline group the one at L+M.  I went to that one for about a year and a half but have not been in a while.  It was a great group.  Take care

 Scott, I have only attended one, but it is a group of people who live along the shore that get together for support on an informal basis.   Everyone seemed to be Dr. A's patients and last time they met in Clinton.

I am one year out and would be interested in getting together or speaking to others in a formal or informal (coffee anyone) setting.  I live in Hamden.

There is a group that meets on Monday's at the senior center at the Miller Memorial Library in Hamden. Its a small group now, but very personable. I've been going to that one for 2 years now and it is a GREAT bunch of people.

Hi Sandy!!  I noticed that Dr. Richi is your doctor as well.  He's great isn't he?  How are you doing? I've often wondered about a CT OH group..would be great if we could start one!!

Yes, I love Dr. Richi!  I have my 2 month appt. w/him on the 14th.  Do you attend the nut support groups w/Carolyn?  I usually go to the Thurs. morning one, but this month I went to the Wed. night one because I figured the schools would have a delay that Thurs. (and they did), so I would miss the morning one.

I also attend another support group that meets at the Prospect library once a month.  It was cancelled last week due to the storm.

I am hoping to get some of us OH'ers together in the near future.  Looks like New Haven may be a good location to meet.  Just have to find a coffee shop.  I thought maybe we could meet at Ikea in their cafe, but their food selections aren't the best for WLS patients LOL.

Is there anyone who can suggest a place in New Haven?  These are the people that have responded to my post so far (sorry if I excluded anyone, I have to update my handwritten notes!):

Good morning Sandy.  I have only attended one support group with Carolyn. Isn't she a riot??  The times don't fit my schedule because on Wednesday's I have choir rehearsal and on Thursday mornings,, I'm at work So I only went to the one about 2 weeks after my surgery.
