Hello all,

FYI...

Anyone who is pre-op or getting ready to have surgery that needs to go on a fast & a "2-day" bowl cleansing (YUCK)

I went to 3 pharmacies.. Fleet enima (liquid you put in drinks) has been taken off the market about 4 days ago due to side affects (kidney damage etc.)  It might be available by prescription only in the near future but the pharmacists I talked to said highly unlikely.

Pharmacist gave me something comporable but not as good.. so need to call my Dr's office  Monday as my revision is Tuesday as a heads up.  I'm hoping this won't put a snag in my surgery for Tuesday.

This other stuff is just as effective that they offered just ALOT more liquid needs to be drank with it.

Let your Dr's know if they aren't aware already.

Thanks Ladies for your good thoughts &  well wishes.

Have to be at the hospital at 5:30am.. surgery is around 7ish..

Didn't sleep a wink last night.. so between just being on fluids & being hyped up/nervous & sleep deprived felt awful this morning.

Tried to get a "last workout" in since I'll be laid up for a few weeks but felt to run down.. :(

I'll keep in touch once I'm back on my feet & let you know how things went & what Dr. R's findings were.

I agree... the more good things I hear about Dr. R & his surgical standards the more I trust he can straighten me out to the best of his ability.

Crossing fingers & toes for an uneventful "re-do"

Hugs,
Mickey

Hi Mickey,
I just sent you an e-card at the hospital cause I thought you were in today, so you may have a card waiting for you!
I know you're nervous, but you're in truly wonderful, SKILLED hands, so let go , and let God, right?
I'll be thinking about you with lots of other folks and praying that everything goes well. Let us know how you're doing when you feel up to it. Try to rest, listen to your body, and let others do for you instead of trying to do too much...
Keep the faith, you WILL feel better: Look at me, after 4 years of puking because of the butcher, I'm a new woman THANKS TO DR RAFTOPOLOUS He's the absolute BEST!!
Take care,
Heather
