Summer Gathering Activities Reminder

SUMMER GATHERING ACTIVITIES PLANNED
HARKNESS PARK IN WATERFORD, CT
SATURDAY, JULY 16, 2005 (11:00 AM)
GAMES: (with prizes given)
1. Potato Sack Races
2. Water Balloon Toss
3. Freeze Dance Contest
4. Three Legged Race
5. Kite Flying Race
6. Telephone
7. One, Two, Three, Red Light
8. Simon Says
9. Frizbee Toss
10. Horse shoes
11. Softball game
12. Badmitten
13. Volleyball
ACTIVITIES:
1. Face Painting
2. Temporary Tattoos
3. Nail Polish Station
I will be providing all the supplies for the facepainting, nailpolish station and the temporary tattoos. My daughter Erin will be helping me with applying these along with any help we can get from others. I have created a poster board of all the types of tattoos we will have and the pictures we can draw for the face painting.
If anyone would like to volunteer to help us with these, it would be greatly appreciated. You can email me to let me know what you would like to help with. Come on everyone lets make this fun for the kids too. I love to put smiles on children's faces and watch them have fun, its so rewarding.
:HELP
I have also purchased various prize items to have for the games I have listed. So whether the children participate or win they will receive a prize, thats the whole fun of it, just having fun winning or not. I will also be providing potato sacks for a race too. Again, everyone will get a prize too.
I ask if you could bring frizbees, balls, gloves, kites, horseshoes, badmitten equipment, etc. to help me out with the other games it would be wonderful and again I would appreciate it.
Some of the games my daughter can explain if the kids don't know what to do. There will be other children there too to help out I hope.
Also make sure you all bring sunblock and bug spray for your children too. This will help us with our gathering and could help others too.
COME ON EVERYONE LETS MAKE THIS A SUMMER GATHERING WE WILL ALL REMEMBER YEARS FROM NOW. LETS SHOW EVERYONE HOW SPECIAL WE ALL ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
