Beagle Puppy

Looking for a home for our new beagle pup "Daisy" loves our cats but is beating up our Shepard, I know a 20lb dog beating up a 125lb dog...funny but true. If anyone is interested let me know, the only requirement is patience! Kristin

I have a beagle/chihuahua mix and she beats up on my 130 pound rottweiler, but he seems to like it. Is the puppy hurting your shephard? Have you talked to your vet or tried to seperate them.

Coming out of lurkdom here for this......How is she with kids? I love beagles and we have been discussing getting a dog.

Kristin: How long have you had the Beagle? Are you SURE that the beagle is "beating" the Shep up? With the huge weight advantage, I would think that the Shep would take the Beagle down a beg when his/her frustration level was reached. Our Beagle, even after a year, drives our two terriers nuts, but even though they weigh half what he does, they totally kick his ass when they've had enough.

I have two beagles...one is as mellow as they come. She is 10. The other is a "wild child"; she'll be 3 in July, and she's only 14 lbs! I'd love to see a picture of her....I have NO BUSINESS even being interested, but I am a sucker for beagles. I've had them all my life! JA
