Hi Everyone, I am truly amazed & feel so blessed at what this surgery has done for me...All my size 22/24 pants are SWIMMING on me..& literally I can pull them off while buttoned & zipped! My shirts are HUGE where I've ranged anywhere from a 22/24-26/28... I went yesterday to pick up just a few pieces of clothing to get me through and size 20 pants were very loose! So I found a couple pairs of jeans & capri's that had a "little stretch" to them in a SIZE 18!! I haven't seen a size 18 since my early 20's! For the first time I looked in a 3 way mirror and actually liked what I was seeing! MY BUTT IS SMALLER!

I almost started crying in the store...my husband was so happy for me he was just beaming like an idiot...he even said to me in the car..you are so much happier & full of life than before! I'm almost at the 50 pound loss mark...it's so hard to believe that I would ever see under 280 lbs...let alone now I'm about 235 (give or take) My goal is to lose 80 lbs before we go to Disney in October...I think I can make it!

I have so much energy now and "food" isn't the top priority in my life anymore...I still struggle with the protein in take and "head hunger" but I do my best & I'm making wise choices...I feel for the first time I'm coming out of a caccoon and immerging into who I WANT TO BE..after so many, many, long years of living in a large shell.

I've been working out at curves..& that has made a world of difference in my "mental well being" as well as physical. Dispite a few small inconvieniences post surgery...I have NO regrets of doing the surgery and I'm LOVING what I'm seeing.

On a final note I CUT MY HAIR short..my husband thinks I look "adorable" and it's fitting the NEW ME...SASSY!

I can hear your happiness just beaming through your post. You still have a long way of moments like that. It just gets better and better. Don't be afraid to cry in the stores. I know I have a time or two. Maggie

I love to read happiness from this Ct Board message and I know what it like to feel that excite moment. Keep your tools then you will make to reach your goal weight or less than your weight goal SMILE Like Kim said, We are hoping to meet you at Summer Gathering Party and share your story to all of us which we are planning to introduce oursleves very soon after the party starts so you will hear each person and will chat to any people at party there! I was in size 26/28 and now I am wearing comfortable size ten and lost 135 pounds for 8 months since I had this surgery. Go for it and tell your hubby to save more money because you will spend more clothes soon

Hello Mickey, Congratulations on your success, that is wonderful you must be so proud of yourself. I know how it feels, its a great journey and we all deserve it. You keep up the good work and put some pictures in your profile so we can see the before and after you. Hope you can make it to the Summer Picinic July 16th at Harkness Park in Waterford. I know I would love to meet you and exchange stories. My husband is proud of me too. I no longer have to wear 30-32s and now I can get in to 22s and some 20s and 18s too. Its a wonderful feeling.
