Hello OH Friends,

I have officially started my 10 day liquid pre-op diet!!!  Excited, yet nervous... 10 days of protein shakes is going to be very difficult..  However, I keep telling myself if I can't do this, then I have no reason getting a life altering surgery and I really want that surgery, so I am going to make sure I do the pre op!!!  Any tips from anyone???  Also, my surgery is in 10 days, it is an over night stay any suggestions as to what to pack and make sure I bring????  I love this website, thanks in advance for all your tips and advice!!!

I guess my best tips would be easy to tie shoes for the ride home(bending to tie shoes will be uncomfortable) draw string or elastic sweat pants and a nice loose over size t-shirt. I wore those in the hospital and for the ride home. Get ready for the ride of your life! Hugzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Breath spray was a life saver the first two days when I couldn't drink or drink much.

Hi Wendy,

Definately chap stick.. toothpaste/brush, breath spray (your mouth will be awfully dry) comfy slippers for walking the halls.

Loose clothing for the ride home.. easy slip on/off.  & a pillow for your tummy on the ride home.. those little bumps in the road you will definately feel.

I'm going in for a revision on Tuesday & bought myself a pair of fluffy hot pink slippers to make me feel better.. LOL.. & "hot" while I'm walking the halls in my sexy johnny.

Best wishes,
Mickey
