Good Morning Everyone! Well, tomorrow is the day!!! Yeah! I have my new, "longer" tape measure and must take my measurements prior to my surgery tomorrow. I was hoping that my friends here on this message board could give me reccommendations as to where to take my measurements. Perhaps this is a silly question... I know the basics (hips, waist, bust, neck)... but what else do you suggest???? There are so many people out there with lots of great ideas... I would love to hear from you! Also.. how often do you take the measurements?? Once or twice a month? I would love to hear what you think is the best, in your experience! Thank you everyone!! Sandy (soon to be a loser!!!)

Hi Sandy, Good luck to you tomorrow on your big day! Wishing you the very best of luck and a very speedy recovery. I take my measurements once a month and this is what I measure 1.Neck 2.Bust 3.Stomach 4.Waist 5.Hips 6.Upper arm 7.Forearm 8.Wrist 9.Thigh 10.Calf 11. Ankle It is very satisfying to see the inches melt away even if the pounds aren't. I especially like to toatal up all my inches and then keep a running total of the loss. Hope this helps you! Sandy

On my profile, I have a list of all the measurements I took (listed under my 2 year anniversary post) Perhaps you will find that helpful! It is fdairly complete as far as a list goes. I never said- Oh! I should have measured that too! I think I covered it all. Also, I would suggest taking measurements once a month on the date of your surgery. It is long enough to see some big differences each month. Best of luck to you in your journey! Sincerely, Lisa C

Hey Sandy, Here's wishing you smooth sailing tomorrow!!! I did my measurements too, and boy it's a great feeling when you do them every so often and see how many inches you've lost! It's so incredible...especially when you plateau! Good luck and we'll see you on the losers' side! JA

Hello Sandy, Congratulations to you sweetie, good luck on your surgery tomorrow. We will all be praying for your successful surgery and quick recovery. Make sure you bring a pillow with you for the pain. Whenever you cough, sneeze or laugh it will hurt so I was told a pillow on the tummy is great help and they were right and even with the car ride home too. Don't pack alot either, just the basics. You won't need much while your in the hospital. I brought just a housecoat and toiletries. Well good luck and God Bless Hugs KimC
