It's been quite a while since I have posted here. Quick update for every one...( I just wanted to share a milestone) I had surgery October 1,2004... my weight was 400lbs; I wore a size 32 pants.......and today a mere 7 months later.. My weight is 248 lbs.... and I am in a size 18 pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to run around and scream!!!!! One of my personal goals was to reach 250 lbs by my birthday......WHICH ISN'T UNTIL JULY 9TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also just quick health update..... no more blood pressure medication.... no more trouble with insulin resistance........and interestingly... my "monthly" cycles are actually monthly instead of annual events, Which my doctor believes will fix my pesky infertility trouble (PCOS). Thanks for listening Becky

Congrats Becky! You have done a great job! I can't wait to be an 18! I have PCOS as well and have gotten my period regularly since surgery. Not quite a blessing but if it changes my infertility I am all for it! Best of luck to you in the future! Kristin RNY 2/15/05 376/281/?

Becky... Thank you for sharing! Your beginning weight is the same as mine... and I am constantly worried that because I cannot move around (because of my severe osteoarthritis of both of my knees) that I will not lose a lot of weight. How much exercise did you do in the last 7 months?? Your story is an imspiration.... thank you so much for sharing! Sandy
