Support Group Meetings Mon. and Tues.

Hi, All! I spent the last week on Cape Cod -- had a good time even though the weather was kind of cool. Of course the weather was best on the day I left, so it was gorgeous for the ride home! I haven't caught up on the postings on this board yet, but thought I'd post this reminder of next week's support group meetings in Hamden and Middletown. Mon., 6/6, is the 1st Mon. of the month, so the meeting at Middlesex Hospital (6:30 to 7:30 p.m.) is for pre-ops only. The Hamden meeting that night, as always, is for both pre- and post-ops. It isn't affiliated with any doctor or hospital and everyone is welcome. It's at the Hamden Senior Center behind the Miller Library on Dixwell Ave., from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tues., 6/7, is the 1st Tues. of the month, so that night the monthly post-op only support group meets at Middlesex Hospital (6:30 to 7:30 p.m.). If you've attended meetings at Middlesex Hospital before, please note the new, earlier time for meetings. I'll be at the Hamden meeting Mon. night and the Middlesex meeting Tues. night. Which of you will I be seeing each night? Anyone want to go to dinner after a meeting? If you need directions, please e-mail me. Debby

My hubby and I are both Post ops and will be at the Middlesex meeting on Tuesday. I had surgery in February, and my hubby had his in March! We can't do dinner after, but we look forward to meeting you! Kristin
