new here!

hello all...I am going to the orientation w/ dr aranow on 6/21/05..wondering if anyone else will be there..i also wondering if anyone has tried the zetacap pills before your surgery and if they worked...how long has this process taken for you all..i just want it done now! haha..i am very impatient... i look forward to sharing my journey and meeting friends along the way..

Dawn: Welcome!!! I never tried Zetacap so I can not help you there. I just wanted to say welcome and you have come to a great place. The people here are wonderful. Like an extended family. You sound just like I did. I wanted the surgery like yesterday. My process took longer than most. I started the process in January and had surgery in July. Take your time and do lots of research. I am so glad I had the surgery and have not looked back once. You are doing a great thing for yourself. I have heard great things about Dr. Aranow. Again welcome to the CT page and you are amongst great new friends. Chryssie

Hi Kristin, thanks for writing..your webpage is very interesting and informative..how is your husband doing? are you going to post some pics...i would love to lose 100 in 4 months...dang..i could only imagine the attention and self confidence that comes w/ that...bet i wouldnt have to be searching for a date on sat nights! kinda personal ?? - are you exercising alot? i just wonder where all the 'extra skin' goes... thanks!!

Hello Dawn I would like to tell you to come over at Middlesex Hospital on June 27 to listen me there. I will be lecture from post op panel there at 630 pm to 730 pm. I am also Dr Aranow's patient. You are in very good hands with him and he is an EXCELLENT surgeon. I can trust him because he is very honest person who will tell you the truth about pro and con about this surgery. Please ask many people who had this surgery alot of questions. My advice to you to try to start walking now up to 15 min everyday to build up your excercise, try to change your life sytle by eating more healthly foods than junk foods so that way it will be more easier for you to use it after surgery. Please come to see me and introduce yourself there on June 27th. you can find me because I am only deaf person who have an interpreter with me there. You will find my story interesting about this surgery but it is hard work. Hugs Kathy K
