Ever since I had surgery I notice that if I am in the loo my legs start to fall asleep. Or if I am sitting on the floor it happens, and quickly too. Has anyone experienced this? I did not have this problem before surgery and just wondering if I am losing my marbles or if it is something to worry about. Thanks, NA

I have not experienced this myself, but it does sound like something you should bring up to the Dr in my opinion. Maggie

I also have the same issue and to be honest, I just assumed that it was due to my dehydration. I almost never meet my water goals so I am always just this side of complete dehydration. When you are dehydrated, there simply isn't enough blood to go around. So when your legs aren't needed, like when you are using the bathroom, the blood goes elsewhere. I would speak to your doc about it, I don't have a degree so I could be totally wrong. Best of luck and let us all know what they say at the docs office.

Hello I had something similar happen and did get in touch with my GP & my surgern. they did blood work to check different levels of B12 & potasium. You might not be absorbing things that you need to. For me it ended up that all my levels were A-ok the problem with me was from an old back injury. It all happened to me after my 9th month. You would think that the weight that I lost would have improved my back and now it has but what happened was that I was holding myself differently. Plus I'd had a tag sale and was carrying things up and down my 3 leveled condo. I couldn't even tell you how many times I made that trip up and down all those stairs. What I can tell you is that I didn't even think about walking up and down them and that even though I was up and down them so much I could still breath and talk at the same time! That was wonderful! It did put a strain on my back and that is what did the pins and needles. In fact I also had numbness constantly up my legs and past my hips almost to my waist. That was very scarey. Things have all calmed down now. I do my excerserizes for my back and remind myself that yes I'm in good shape now but even though I've lost alot of weight I stil do have a bad back that needs to be handled carefully soemtimes. good luck and god bless. pam
