Ok so since July I have slowed down losing. In fact I have been fighting for all 20 to 30 pounds I have lost since July. I know it has only been about 20 pounds since August for sure. Just found out two days ago that Paxil makes you gain weight! Guess what I have been on since July!!! I am soooooo frustrated it's not even funny. Glad the doctor took me off it and gave me something that doesn't cause weight gain.

I'm on that and Cymbalta. The Wellbutrin alone didn't cut it for me.

I take Welbutrin and Cymbalta as well. Thinking of getting the Cymbalta changed to Zoloft, the cymbalta is making me so tired it's hard to funtion sometimes.

You'll probably get tired on the zoloft, too....the ssri's do that...maybe lower your dose of cymbalta.  i take just 30...was on 60, but it whacked me out.

Thanks Paula. I did not know that SSRI's in general will make you tired.  I am on just 30mg.  I have been on 60mg and as high as 90mg.  Those 2 higher doses turned me into a zombie.  i see my therapist tomorrow to talk about my drug regimine again. I did just get to go off of my BP med (norvasc) and the tiredness has improved a little. Thank. Paul

Wellbutrin doesn't cause weight gain...and neither does Cymbalta.  I'm on both and like them each...Though, I've gained, but not from the meds, bad eating habits and stress for over 14 mos.

I have been on Paxil for several years and it probably contributed to my weight gain.  I was instructed by my surgeon to continue taking the Paxil even when I was on the clear liquids.  For the entire month of December I only lost 7.5 lbs. and my surgery was just on 11/13.  So, I'm sure the Paxil is contributing.
