Can someone please answer a question regarding the Middletown meetings for me??

Hello All, I am new at this. I had my first appt with Dr. A and I have to go to a meeting on the 6th that is with the dietician and the psychologist at the hospital then I need to make an appt with the dietician Dr A said. BUT I have to go 3 Support groups also. Are those EVERY MONDAY and if so what time are they? I want to meet others so I am excited to go but also scared. Is anyone else at this point?? Lisa

Hi, Lisa! I'm also one of Dr. A's patients -- almost 5 months post-op. The Middlesex meetings are held every Mon., except for holidays, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The meetings on the 1st and 4th Mondays of the month are for pre-ops only and the others are for both pre- and post-ops. There's also a post-op only meeting on the 1st Tues. of every month, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. So as a pre-op, you're welcome at all Mon. meetings. You would only attend one of the meetings held on the 1st Mon. of the month, so your other 3 meetings (minimum) would be on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th Mon. of the month. Hi Lisa I am also Dr A. 's patient. Dr Aranow is great surgeon and you are very good hand with him. I will be lecture from Panel group on June 27th at Middlesex hosptial for pre-op people. Please come to introduce yourself after lecture and ask me anything questions . I will be glad to help you and will make you feel part of this family. Don t be scared!
