No, nothing like that. I'm just totally sick and tired of sipping protein drinks. It's been 9 days since my surgery, and I feel like all I do is sip, sip, sip. I have no appetite at all, but God, I want to sink my teeth into something!

Really, I feel great. My pain is down to twinges of uncomfortableness, I'm off the pain meds, and I'm up and moving pretty easily. So far, I'm down 21 pounds since surgery day, and over 30 including my pre-surgery weight loss.

Yes, Mike there is real food at the end of the tunnel. And head hunger will come back.......unfortunately.

I remember those days oh so well! I just wanted to chew something. I even started to chew my shakes. I lived for the vitamins. They were a treat! But those were during the mushies I think. Try some soups, You feel "human" with those since it's real food. Good luck with these last few days!

You will be chewing before you know it. I remember feeling just like you. I couldn't stand sipping those protein drinks. It seemed like forever that I was sipping, but now that I look back it really wasn't that bad.

Enjoy the no appetite. I find it helps keep me honest. I am 10 months out and very seldom feel hungry.

Keep up the good work and the weight will fall off.

Nancy
