Fairfield County Bariatrics???

I am wondering if anyone has had WLS performed by the group from Fairfield County Bariatrics. They are coming to Foxwoods to give a free seminar On WLS, in particular Banding, but I have not heard of them before. I was thinking of attending just to see what they are like but wondered if anyone out there has had first hand experience with them. Thanks! Nancy K

Nancy: Not only did FCB perform my surgery, I will be AT the Foxwoods seminar next week! I'd love to meet you. I cannot recommend FCB highly enough. Not only are they great surgeons, they are great people as well. The entire practice: the PAs, office staff and support group staff are wonderful as well. Hi Nancy, I had my surgery done by Dr. Ehrlich at FCB. I highly recommend them. They have excellent before, during and after surgery care. I live 2 hours away from their office, and the trips are well worth it. It will be worth your time to go to the meeting to check them out. Hope this helps! Lynne

Hi Nancy: I too am a patient of Dr. Ehrlich's at FCB. There's not much that I can say that Bette hasn't already. They are, I feel, the most caring, concerned and committed group of doctors that I have ever dealt with. Totally committed to your care pre-op and especially post-op. Hi Nancy~ I, too, am a post op patient having had my surgery done by one of the 3 surgeons at FCB this past year by Dr. Neil Floch. I can only echo what Bette and Bob have said to you already. What I can wholeheartedly confirm for you that FCB is a surgical TEAM that offers the most comprehensive program in the state. You would be in good hands with Dr. Ehrlich, Dr. Neil Floch or Dr. Craig Floch . And even though one chooses a single surgeon, there is a backup team at all times. Not only are they excellent surgeons with stellar reputation, they are (all 3) caring men. Their PA is a comsumate professional who truly cares about us. CONGRATS on considering to move on to a new healthy life, free from the burden of morbid obesity and all that it brings. Take care and good luck with your pre-op journey if you choose that. I would like to thank you all for such positive feedback. It makes me feel better to hear what great surgeons, and better yet what a great TEAM they are. I am so looking forward to attending the Lap Band seminar at Foxwoods on June 2nd. Dr. Erlich suggested it would be the best WLS surgery after reviewing the email I sent to Victoria (I couldn't believe he did that without me acutally being his patient yet!).
