Silly Question

Does anyone have bad sinus problems? I cannot lay flat on my back without waking up congested. My fear is that I won't be able to breathe during surgery and I won't even know it! I will have a CPAP at that time (still going through the sleep study process), but the one that I want will go over my nose and not my nose & mouth. Do they hook you up to a CPAP if you require it during or after the surgery? I should probably tell Dr. A about my congestion, right? -Michelle

Hi Michelle It is not silly question. I am taking ethier Clartin or sudafed for my sinus congestion. If it is getting worse then call your PRimary Doctor to make an appointment to take look at it. Hope you are feeling better this end of this weekend Kathy K

Michelle, Its not a silly question? The doctor will probably monitor you for this before during and after your surgery. Call Dr. A and let him know how your feeling and he may give you something to relieve it. I have very bad hayfever, but I was lucky enough it did not bother me in December. You should still check with him on this just to be on the safe side. Good Luck. Hugs KimC
