help with appeal letter

Hey all, I have a friend who was denied surgery and wants to try to appeal the decision. Is there anyone out there who appealed and can help with a letter or where to find an "dummy" appeal letter that she can add to and make her own??????? Your help is apprecaited !!! Deanna

I think that even before I started to try and write an appeal letter, I'd find an attorney to take my case. I've heard many times that all it took was a letter from an attorney to the insurance company to jolt their attention and stop the jerking around. Just a thought. Take good care Heather

Actually, I just read the MAss posting, and it is an appeal for an apdominaplasty (sp?)...but it could be helpful as a guide...
