Dr. Aranow

I am on my way! I had my consultation with Dr. Aranow yesterday, what a doll! He took his time and explained everything I will need to do. I also wanted to thank everyone who was at the Support Meeting last Monday night at Middlesex who calmed my fears of Gastric Bypass surgery, I gained so much in that 1 hour meeting! Thank you! Robin

Hey Robin, I was at the support group last Monday and if you are the lady I think you are, you expressed all the same fears I have. I'm really glad you did, because I think all pre-ops (or most) have them, and sometimes they are not voiced. I am a little ahead of you in the process, met with Doctor A in April, and am supposed to be scheduled in June. I hope everithing works out well for us!!!!! It's a big step, but the health benefits are worth it!....

Hi Dorota- Looks like we could be neighbors! I'm glad I was able to voice fears that belong to others also, I'm not one to keep my mouth shut! I hope to see/meet you at the next meeting! Robin

If you want to meet outside of group, since we seem to be from the same town, that could be done. I think it;s so important to have a support system..
