Anthem Approved Lapband! Woo-Hoo!

I am so excited! Anthem originally denied me for the lapband - I hired a lawyer, Steven Kalman (bandedlawyer.com) - yes he is banded too! - and he submitted my appeal. Took a few weeks, but I've been approved today. I'm so excited....Can't wait for the action to begin! I want this surgery - like yesterday! I want to be rid of this excess weight!! Can't wait to join you all as losers!

Good for you Amy!! You go girl!! You are on your way to a healthy new life! You give me hope because I have Anthem too & they denied my lapband request too. I am now in the appeal stage but my doctor's office is handling the appeal at this point--but who knows, if Anthem continues to give me a hard time I will probably follow in your footsteps.
