Psychiatric Consult Medicare/Medicaid

Does anyone know of a Phsychiatrist in Ct, like hartford area that accepts Medicare,Medicaid. Dr Barbas office has a list of them but none of them accept both insurances for a psychiatric consult... Some one please help... Thank you,,,,

I'm sorry I don't know. Perhaps you can call your insurer and see if they have a list of providers. You might even be able to find a directory online. I just checked and I found a 100 providers within 25 miles of hartford. David, In East Hartford there is a place called Inter community mental health group and they accept state insurance and have 3 Physchiatrists there I think. One is Dr Ahmed and the other is Dr Holzman. It is on Main Street in EH across from Brewer Street and 7-11. Hope this helps you out. Lisa
