Hello Gangs
I am sure some of you heard the new last friday. SUb BASE targeted!!!! My hubby and I are sit tight and wait until this fall to hear if it is final decision to close the base then we will make decision to try find other jobs here or will move to Kingsbay , Ga. I need your prayers to keep Sub Base here because I do not want to move and hate to leave all of you here and you will miss Kathy's Excercise log this Ct Message board!!!!
I was busy this past weekend. I had meeting at Harkness State park with WLS people then ran errands to do things after this. My son had baseball game and they won yesterday!!
I did excercise last night on treadmill for 40 min while watching my tv show. Tonight I will do powerwalking outside with my friend at work for 30 min. Make your plan to do excercise five times a week for 30 min
B Half toasted muti grains english muffin with few stripes of bacon

My hair is getting thinner even though I drank enough protein and sitll using special shampoo to help rebuild my hair.

Kathy, I am praying for you, I hope you don't have to go anywhere. I will keep praying they change their minds. I enjoyed coming on Saturday and meeting the girls that were there (forgot their names, sorry). Thank you so much for all the clothes you gave me I love them.
I had a crazy weekend too. Lots of running around shopping for groceries and other essentials. My husband's birthday is coming up so trying to fit that in too with getting a cake organized for memorial weekend. We have two picnics to go to on the same day. It never fails, everyone always plans on the same day. My niece's birthday is next weekend and so is my best friends anniversary and my cousins too, so have to get cards. And of course my mother-in-law is the same day as my husband. May is always a crazy month for us with birthdays and anniversaries.

The possible subbase closing will effect many thousands of people in SE CT. I am really hoping that the work that our public servants do will aide in taking our base off that list. (My dh works at Quonset Point, I believe if the subbase closes, EB will eventually close also, putting SE CT even more in the red). So for Kathy's sake and SE CT's sake, my hopes are with keeping the base open.
With all that aside, I did the Emerald Square mall with the kids yesterday, that's all the exercise I got. Today I have been to the gym for a cardio class and the circuit. I may go for a walk later with my daughter.

Hey All!!
Kathy I have been thinking about you all weekend, and I pray that the Sub Base stays!!! It sounds like the Governor and the Senators won't let it go without a fight!!!
I just got back from my PCP who gave me my B12 shot. I am hoping it gives me some energy. I had my follow up on Friday with my surgeon and I just love him and his staff. I was there quite awhile and had great conversations with him, his nurse and the nutritionist. Love them. I am down 26lbs and feel pretty good although everyday is still different. I am battling nausea.
Anyway, he told me that I needed to start eating food, which I have not been anxious to try because I didn't want to get sick. But I tried an egg and some peanut butter on wheat toast. Went down okay.
So today:
B - pudding with protein (can't seem to get away from this in the AM because I take two of my pills crushed with it)
L - tuna with LF mayo
S - yogurt
D - 1/2 wheat toast with PB
S - popsicle - my favorite!!
I also have tried the Isopure - I am into the Grape right now and half of the bottle is 20grms, so I feel better about getting my protein in. Even though I like the shakes I have been making, I don't want to have them everyday and get sick of them.
Exercise - Its cold and crappy out, so I will exercise on the Gazelle today. (Plus I have already been up and down my three flights twice today - so got some there!)
