Mon. Night Support Group Meetings

Hi, All! This coming Mon. night is the 3rd Mon. of the month, so there are 2 support group meetings to choose from: Middletown and Hamden. The Hamden meeting isn't affiliated with any particular doctor or hospital and is open to all, both pre- and post-ops. It's at the Senior Center behind the Miller Library on Dixwell Ave. from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Middletown meeting is at Middlesex Hospital and is mostly for patients of Dr. Aranow, but anyone is welcome. This meeting is for both pre- and post-ops and is from 7 to 8 p.m. (The time change to 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. doesn't take effect until June.) This is the one evening of the month when I have to choose between meetings. This time I'll be going to Middlesex because I'm going to be meeting a friend of Kathy K.'s who's coming to the meeting with her. I'll also be visiting Adam Friedman before the meeting; he's having his surgery Monday. Who else is going to Middlesex Mon. night? Anyone interested in going to dinner after? Hi, Kim! I'm not going to the Hamden meeting Mon. night; I'll be at the Middlesex meeting. But Kelly Kern (who also posts on this board and lives in your area) is usually at the Hamden meeting, so you may get to meet her. The next Hamden meeting I'll go to is the one on the 1st Mon. of June. Hugs, Debby

I know we are going to be in the air at that time, so we will have to wait until the post-op meeting on the 7th. Peter ps. Hope you all have fun at "Guys and Dolls" tonight. Robin has been having a wonderful time (with the show and the company), and is looking forward to everyone being there.
