Right now I am still on the full liquid stage of the process (going half crazy) and right now I am making a full Post Thanksgiving dinner for my Husband and Dad and I can't have any of it!
It's tradition, and I didn't want to break tradition and disapoint my Dad.
Hows that for willpower?
I'm so proud of me! :).

Good Job Chrissy!!! Holidays are the worst as a new pre-op. I had Easter 3 months post-op and it almost killed me. I did end up sick but it was unrelated to what I ate.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

I've lost 11 pounds in two weeks on the band. I'm pleased. I go to my follow-up wednesday.
I'm doing GREAT! I feel like my old self and going back to work tomorrow.

Very cool about your surgery date. start stocking up now.

For me, I had a bad expereince with Anesthesia and had the dry heaves. Pain was tolerable and I was able to use Tylenol. I would say by the 4th day I felt good.

Crystal light saved me. sips sips sips....
For the first 3 days i could barely finish a protien shake in 3 hrs now I have no problem.
i am still on the full liquid stage. My Dr keeps us on it for 4 weeks so I still have some time to go.
It gets a bit manotnus, but I am finding ways to change things up a bit. Also head hunger happens, but  I find things to do and that helps that.

let me know what else you want to know.

Thats great 11 pounds in 2 weeks, good for you..  Glad to hear you felt good soon after..  I am having my surgery on a Wednesday and going back to work on that following Monday.  I wonder if that will be enough time off..  What kind of career do you have?  How long did your Dr want you to stay home?  How soon after does he give you your first fill??  Sorry, I am so full of questions..  Thanks for all the information!!!!

No problem! Glad to help.
I have a desk job and took a full week because I had the time to use. For me it was just enough. I got alot of sleep which helped too.
The following week was a short week and I had things to do, I took the extra.

I believe he does 1st fills at six weeks. I'll find out when I go on wednesday.

I would stock up on Crystal light, pudding, soup and  I did get the unjuy protien which is   wonderful. Get the unflavored, cause you can add it to anything for extra protien. I put it in my soups, puddings, drinks. its wonderful. also bacitracin which helps the incisions heal.
