I am still doing well. I went back to work already. I am a manager of a company so, I can sit in the office,give orders and over see production and not worry about anything. My boss said as long as my mind is fine thats what he needs. So relaxe and take it easy.
Thats funny about the belly ring,because I told my son, who is 40, that I wanted to get a belly button piercing! I think it is so cool. Even though I am 58, it will be just for me! My hubby said he didn't care either way. After I had my RNY, I got my nose pierced. I have a very small diamond and I Love it. I also have 3 tattoos which my son did, he has his own tattoo business in Maine. So the kids are right when they say I am the cool grandmother, not the boring one!!
Yes Dr. Barba does TTs. He has been doing them for several years. Mine looks great already. I can't wait till all the swelling and tightness goes away for the final look. Already you can barley see the scar. It is thinner than when I had my RNY! It has only been 10 days and it only looks like someone drew a line down my belly with a pink pen. I didn't care either way because I told Dr. Barba I didn't want to be a bikini model, just get rid of the floppy skin. So far I am 2 1/2 inches smaller in the waist and 6 inches in the belly, hip area, because the skin apron fell around there.
I had Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I documented 6 months of rashes, got cream prescription from my pcp and BC/BS approved me in 2 1/2 weeks. I had to wait fo an opening with Dr. barba because he was so booked. Thats why I did it just before Thanksgiving. Other wise I would of had to wait until the end of January.

Thank you so much for the info I am about 11 months out and my Dr told me to begin looking for a surgeon. I definitely want surgery and will be looking for a Dr who is agressive with the insurers. It is great always to hear from someone who is further along the path than I am. Thank you for sharing
