Las Vegas...

Hi all! I just got back from my first trip to Las Vegas. It was mainly for work-- but I did manage to have some fun too! I did not gamble much, but I did by a great cowgirl hat! There is no WWW needed. Interestingly- my husband and I had 30 minutes and about 3 miles of a crowded strip to navigate to get back to our transportation van in time... My husband was SO negative, he just kept saying we'll never make it... it's too far...it's too crowded. etc. Well- kids- WE MADE IT. I HAULED my butt down that strip, only stopping to wait on my DH to catch up from time to time and arived with no time to spare. I wasn't even out of breath! DH was dying- I thought he was going to kill me! He wanted to take a cab- but there wasn't one readily avail. So- I said- Let's GO! We'll hoof it! NEVER NEVER NEVER could I have made it 1/2 mile in the heat at my previous weight. AND- NEVER have I literally run laps around my husband, without even breaking a sweat. THANK GOD FOR WLS. My fav. angelette! That blue cowgirl hat is my new favorite thing. Too bad we don't live in Texas, so I could wear it every day! LOL. But, you'll see me wearing it at the beach, for sure! CT gathering is coming soon! So, I'll see you before you know it! hugs, Lisa
