Hi All, Doing a roll call was a good idea. I started out at 269 pounds and as of today I weight 204. Thats 65 pounds lost. I am 3 months and 1 week post op. I am also exactly half way to Dr. Bells goal for me which is 130 pounds lost. Its kind of weird for me I have 130 pounds to loose and he wants me to weight 130 pounds when Im finished. So I litterally have to loose half of my weight. I credit all of you for keeping me honest and on track. If it wasnt for Tammi K and Kathy I would never have started exercising. If it wasnt for Joanie and her food log, I would never have learned what to eat, and of course this board has taught me so much about the lifestyle in general. You have all been so helpful when I have had a crisis, or questions. On a side note my upper gi went well yesterday at Yale, and I do not have a blockage anymore, nor do I have a hernia that they can see anyway. So Im in the clear. The parts of this lifestye I find difficult is eatting slowly and finding something to eat when you have to be on the run. And at first I was cooking too much food to deal with the head hunger. I have gotten that under control. I love being able to clothes shop in the smaller sizes. I still cant get used to that and tend to go towards the bigger sizes out of habit and it always amazes me when things are big on me. I am wearing a size 14 or 16 pants depending on the way they are made. And the tops are size 18. I was a 30-32 top and size 26 pants. Being smaller has made a tremendous difference in my self worth. I know I get very sick from sugar because I ordered something at Applebees restaurant that I was TOLD had no sugar and it made me sick as a dog, vomiting. I have not had sugar since. I am happy I had this surgery. It was the right decision and I would do it again. Lauren
