I dont see why you are not welcome, come on down, it is the last Tuesday of the month. I have been three times and really enjoy the group, and have gotten to meet some great people in a similar situation and had some laughs last night. Melissa.

I am having Adjustable Gastric Lap Band surgery on monday with Dr Barba. Is the group for lap band too or just RNY?

this is in response to kelly...i'm pretty sure that this particular meeting is for gastric bypass. i remember hearing that lap banders have a different meeting, once a month, but on a different day. hope this helps. i'm sure dr barba's office could help you out on the dates.

Kelly, see ya Monday, I am having lap gastric bypass Monday and can not wait. There is another group just for lap banders. Carolyn would be able to tell you when they are held. Good luck with the surgery on Monday.
