Hello!! I went up to see both Phyllis and Evelyn today in the hospital. They ended up taking Evelyn's gallbladder out but she is doing great. She went for a walk today and even did stairs. I warned her about that delayed pain and told her use the pump!!! I didn't want her to wait too long and then end up in that pain that doesn't stop. She was her usual Evelyn, big smile, no worries! Phyllis is in a bit more pain, and had a fever today which makes me think Evelyn will be there soon since she had her surgery hours after Phyllis. Phyllis's Mom Bev, was there with Phyllis's friends and she is amazing. I told her, if my Mom was alive, I'd want her to be just like her, watching over Phyllis like a hawk. They had a difficult time getting Phyllis's epidural in so that's why she is in so much pain poor thing. Dr. Giles was there when I came in and ordered a new med to help so I hope she's ok now. Both of these woman are so brave and committed to this surgery. Both were tested in their own ways and delayed. I know they both wanted this more than anything and I am so relieved it's over and they are ok. I knew they were in good capable hands with Dr. Giles but you still worry no matter what. Welcome to the other side Phyllis and Evelyn! Your LOSERS now and they are both OK!! love and hugs to all, Cheryl
