OMG!!!

Finally got over my being too scared to call the insurance company...picked up the phone to call...found out I am pending. Ok so she transfers me to someone else who says I GOT APPROVED TODAY!!!!!!!! I am so excited I can't sit still and am shaking! Ok so am I the only goofball who cried when she said those words?? WHO CARES!!!! My date for next Friday is official!!!! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me throughout my entire journey! I love you all!!! hugsssssssss Krista

Krista- Excellent news! Another phase of this journey is complete. I remember the same feeling when my surgery was a reality. My friends even gave me a party...they knew how much it meant to me. Good Luck and may God bless you as you go through this life changing surgery. XO Joanie

krista, that is fantastic news, i am so thrilled for you! i will be thinking of you on may 6th, and sending you healing energy. i am always amazed when i read stuff on this website, how much i have in common with so many of you... the part about how maybe now you can stop being anti-social... that is so me. i know we shouldn't do this but i feel like i've put my entire life on hold waiting to have this surgery! everytime someone gets approved, it makes me feel like soon it will be my turn...hopefully! take care

Patty....I have always felt leery(sp?) about going places where there are all people I don't know...so I avoid going. I hate to say that the first time it was brought up to me to go to the summer gathering I thought OMG I won't know ANYONE! Then i decided I have to stop that and get out and meet people! You are right we HAVE put our whole lives on hold waiting for this moment...And I felt the same way as you about people getting approved, but I also worried if I was the one who wouldn't get approved and would have to cancel.
