DENIED

I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I WAS DENIED. I FEEL SO SAD. I FEEL DEPRESSED. I AM APPEALING. THEY SAID THAT BASED ON MY WEIGHT AND BMI IT WAS NOT MEDICALLY NECESSARY. I HAVE AT LEAST 4 COMORBIDITIES. THANKS FOR LISTENING GUYS BLESSINGS SPLENDALICIOUS

Oh dear Lord, are you kidding me? I am so sorry to hear that. Chin up and fight back. You've got it in you. I've seen a lot of approvals based on notes in an appeal. Sending good karma your way! Tara

T Don't use all that energy to get depressed. Fight back!! Four co morbidities should really get you approved..sometimes it just takes an appeal. I will keep you in my positive thoughts that this surgery happens for you. Hang in there Joanie

I am so sorry to hear that Splendalicious. It is depressing to see that such a neccessary surgery is being denied to so many these days. I hope your appeal will turn out positive and you will look back on this as just a bump in the road. hang in there, don't give up. terri

Sorry about your being denied. I was too, twice, and on the 3rd round they approved me. Some insurance comanies are the pits. Keep up the fight, write letters, tell them how much this would help in your health and self esteem. I wrote a heart felt letter, I think your doctors office needs to fight for you too. Best of luck.
