Just curious... I submitted all of my paper work to Dr. Bells office last Friday and psych. eval was faxed to his office on Monday so they've got everything now. I was wondering how long it usually takes to get a surgery date. By the way, I'm a newbie here so

Susan, First off, welcome to the boards and can i tell you Dr. Bell is AWESOME!!!! Each one is different, last year at this time, we were waiting several months for them to make our appointment. Lately, since he has hired on Dr. Duffy, whom i also hear is wonderful, they have been going pretty quickly. I would wait a week to ten days, and then call if they havent called you. Hope we will see you are Dr. Bell's support groups, and any other activities. We have lots of fun here and are one big happy LOSING family!! Deanna

Thanks. I'm happy to know that i've picked a good surgeon. I sent a letter in with my paperwork stating that I was hoping to have the surgery by the end of May.... The other woman I work with is taking 3 weeks off in June so I won't be able to take any time off from work then. I also have vacations scheduled for the 3rd week of July and the 3rd week of August and I want to be given the green light to be able to swim.... I'm going to attempt to make the next meeting in May if at all possible. I'm hoping the husband isn't working that night so that he can drive down with me.... I hate getting lost!!!
