Another Milestone for me

I know I haven't been over here for awhile. Have been very busy with the tv show, working on getting a dog park here in Norwich, exercising, meetings, etc. I have been going to the group therapy sessions for people who have had WLS and that has been helping me alot. I'm really honing in on what drove me to gain weight. Next up, learning how to get control of that drive. I hit a personal milestone this weekend, when I went under 200 lbs for the first time in about 18 years! My next goal is to get to 175lbs. I'm wearing size 18s and they are saggy baggy on me (some brands). I may have to pick up some cheap size 16 jeans! Anyone who is interested in dogs, I invite you to come to our agility club's annual trial at the Brooklyn Fairgrounds (on Rte 169 in Brooklyn CT) this coming weekend, April 16 and 17. I'm going to be running our dogs in at least four events each day. It's free and it's lots of fun. Watch dogs run agility, just like on Animal Planet and ESPN Outdoor games. There are some really fast dogs there and some really slow, pokey ones too. I'm so excited that I'm able to run again now that I've lost so much weight. It feels so freeing! Come on up and have some fun...stop by and say hi....buy lots of doggie stuff from the vendors we're going to have. Ann 116 lbs GONE!

Yea, Anne, you have done a great job! You must feel so wonderful to be able to run with your dog again. Have fun this coming weekend. If I am out that way, I'll stop by. Pam
