Hello everyone! I just wanted to check in and say helloooo! Things have been going great over here. My plateau.. turned out to be temporary dyslexia. I weighed in today at the Drs. but when she looked at my last visit, I'm actually down 12 lbs!! Silly me.. I reversed the numbers, so when I saw these numbers again, I thought I was stuck. Also, my blood pressure before surgery was running 140-160/100, today was 102/62, no meds! Even so, that's still pretty slow now. I'm finding a lot of bad habits coming back, but I'm trying very hard to keep them at bay. I've been going to the gym FIVE days a week! Never in my life would I have thought about that. The eliptical still kills me, since I'm so out of shape, it will take a while to get used to. My 30 minutes of cardio goes by so quickly, w/o barely breaking a sweat. Before, I'd be lucky to make it to 10 minutes. I've also been adding weights to my workouts, so that should move the inches. NOW.. the funnest part!!! I'm on a softball team! I've ALWAYS wanted to play on one, but I've always been too fat and out of shape. Well, there's a team at work, the RI Blood Center, starting up a season soon.. woohooo! I can't wait. I'm in a L-XL (depending on the store) top and 20 T W E N T Y!! pants. I don't even think I was in a 20 in HS. Well, that's it for now. I just wanted to share! I hope everyone else is doing ok. Take care, Michelle

Hi Michelle, So happy to hear about everything going on with you. That is too cool about the softball league! I really like going to the gym although I mainly do aerobic classes and only occasionally do I have to go on the machines, like if I work late and can't make my class. I also find some bad habits creeping in and have to pay attention, but the exercise will help the occasional overeating I'm sure. Aren't the spring clothes nice now that we can fit into them!! Thanks for sharing! Sandy

Glad to hear that nasty plateau has gone away and you're still losing. Isn't it great when you go to the Drs expecting the worst and come out a loser? I'm so happy for you. You're continued success amazes me. Congratulations. Maggie
