I just wanted everyone to know that I have reached below my first goal of 220 pounds. I am not 218. and I have reached my first personal goal of fitting into a size 18 pants and size 18 top. Before Kathy K left she gave me a pair of size 18 jeans that she had worn on her way down. by Chance I tried them on and they fit. In fact, I had this dress in my attic that I have been dying to wear for 13 years. I held onto it because I loved it so much and this morning I pulled it out of the attic and its too late. Its too big. I waited too long...lol... What a feeling that is. To be too small for something. Tonight I go clothes shoping for the first time. Everything is just hanging off of me, I have to buy something. For my gift to myself for reaching my personal goal I went out and bought myself some diamond and emerald earrings. I got them at the local pawn shop, what a deal I got. I was told by a state cop once, NEVER...NEVER PAY RETAIL for jewelry. He said you can get the best deals at the pawn shops. I tried it and I like it. For what I would have paid for one item I was able to buy 2 items and Im oohhhhhh so happy. So for my next personal goal I have to reach 199 pounds, and when I do its back to the pawn shop for another bauble for myself. My husband says I deserve it, Im working so hard at loosing weight. He is so proud of me. So ladies, Im doing well. Can finally eat salad. What a delight that is. I just love taco salads. Cant eat much, but who cares. See you all soon I hope (after tax season) Hugs L

Hi, Lauren! Congratulations on reaching those goals! I can relate to your dress episode...I had some spring clothes that I hoped to fit into again after surgery and now that it's warmer out I tried them on and they're too big. I don't remember the last time something was too big on me instead of too small. It's a great feeling. Your post sounds like you're feeling much better emotionally...I'm glad. Enjoy wearing the earrings... make sure you buy something green to wear that goes with them. Hugs, Debby

Hi Lauren, Congratulations! I am so happy for you. I haven't seen you at the club the last couple of weeks, although I have had two very crazy weeks with the kids and have not been up there every day as I usually do. Hope to see you soon. Sandy
