Review: Stallone's pudding
I don't work for the company, I'm just another postop reviewing a new product.
I finally managed to find the stuff in GNC - everyone's been out of it. It's called "Stallone High Protein Pudding", made by Instone. 4-pak was almost $8.00, a tad pricey, but I thought I'd give it a chance.
The only flavor they had was vanilla (it comes in vanilla and chocolate.) I'm not a big vanilla fan (a little too dull for me), but overall, the pudding's pretty good. Nice texture; not to runny or too thick or gummy. Good vanilla flavor with no noticeable aftertaste. I managed to finish the can, but it was filling.
I'd like to try the chocolate to see how it tastes. However, the price would probably keep me from buying this on a regular basis.

Hi, Bette!
I've been meaning to post something about the chocolate flavor of this pudding since I bought it at GNC in response to Beth Farbotka's post about it. (Thank you, Beth!) I haven't tried the vanilla, but the milk chocolate is very good...real chocolatey...almost more like a dark chocolate (my favorite version of chocolate, although there's no version of chocolate I dislike). When I bought it last month, it was on sale for $6.49 (I think) instead of the usual $7.99 for the 4-pack. Then I got another 20% off of that by using my GNC gold card which costs $15/yr. and gets you 20% off anything you buy during the 1st 7 days of each month. Considering all the bottles of Zero Carb Isopure I've bought there (especially since they were on sale from 1/1 thru 3/31), along with chewable calcium and some other things, I've saved more than the $15 the gold card cost me when I bought it in Jan. and it's only April. Then I saved some more money by paying for my purchase with a GNC gift card that I bought on Ebay for about 20% less than the face value, even including shipping. But even at the regular price, with the GNC gold card, the 4-pack costs $6.40, or $1.60 each. At that price it's more comparable to the cost of a Carb Countdown yogurt smoothie and has 50% more protein than the smoothie. By the way, if you like chocolate-dipped strawberries, try adding a couple of sliced strawberries to the chocolate pudding...YUM!!

Thank you so much for posting this. Being 2 years out I almost gag at the thought of another protein drink. How I wish someone would develop a protein pill!!
I am going today to GNC to see if I can find this. For 20g of protein I am going for it!
Plus that huge amount of potassium is great for me!!
Thanks again!
