Can't stop crying...Insurance denied me 6 days before surgery...help

Actually, the Lap Band doesn't get removed after your weight loss. I am afraid of the Gastric Bypass because of the higher death rate and it's more invasive surgery. Each person has to make a personal choice that is right for them.

Lap Band on 05/02/05

My surgeon's office said they will fax a letter of appeal on monday and advised me to also contact the Ins co. I put a simple letter together specifying why I want the Lap Band as opposed to RNY and mailed and faxed it to them. I hope I didn't make a mistake. Should I have let the doctor handle it????
