out of Surgery and doing well/Clothing exchange

Hi everyone, I have not posted since before my surgery which was March 7th. I am doing very well and have already lost 26 pounds it is mind blowing. I am feeling alot better than I thought I would and I am really happy. I wanted to thank everyone for there well wishes and support before surgery it really meant a lot to me. I had to go through my closet last night as some of my pants are getting to big to wear and as I was doing this I was thinking that I would love to give them to someone who might be able to use them, they are a size 20, and I was also thinking that maybe it would be nice to set up a clothing exchange for gastric bypass patients or find out if there is something like that in the works I was wondering if anyone new of anything like that?

Hi Katherine - Congratulations on joining us on the loser's bench and for doing so well since your surgery!!! Amazing how quickly things move isn't it??? Keep up the good work! As for the clothing exchange. There is one here on the OH site and we also try to bring clothes to our CT board gatherings whenever we can. Mostly I have either sent mine to consignment or given them to goodwill - but I have plenty of nice things left as my size continues to drop. Good luck and nice job!!!! Hugs, Carla
