Hi All... Kathy asked me to incorporate the exercise log with the food log..while she is getting ready for her cruise... I did water aerobics for an hr last night and today I am going to the gym. B-hard boiled egg 6 g S-1/2 protein bar 16 g L-chicken caesar salad 18g S-1oz of chicken 1 oz of cheese 12 g D-chopped broccoli with cheese 12 g S-slim a bear sF ice cream bar 4 g Joanie

Hi Joanie, I'm a bit of a lurker on this board, but I know you have been having a difficult time of late with weight loss. I too have been having that problem and spoke to my nutitionist about my eating habits. I see you do the protein bar and the sf IC bar and wanted to know if they both have sugar alcohol? I too was putting in about 20grams of sugar alcohol (splenda for coffee and my "sweet" treats) and my nutritionist said that was my problem. Some people produce too much insulin from it and it causes you to gain or maintain weight until you stop using it for at least a week. I have switched back to sweet and low (just 1 a day) and no ice pops with S.A. and it seems to be working. Just a thought Tee

Tee Thanks so much for that suggestion! I am trying to keep carbs low..but have never considered sugar alcohol!! I will try reading my labels more carefully...thanks again..and please don't be a lucker...everyone's input is important! :wave" J

Good afternoon everyone, B- Morning start Protein bar, 12 g ; hard boiled egg S- Water L- salad w/lite dressing S- Water D- not sure, forgot to defrost...probably some pasta dish now... S- probably the usual - peanut butter and unsalted peanuts I also want to say thanks about the sugar alcohols, I try to read the labels and keep sugar alcohols to a minimum because I don't feel good if I eat too many, but I never actually counted them either. I will try that also, since I have only lost 10 pounds in the last 3 months!! Enjoy your day. Anne

Hi Ladies! I really wanted to keep track of things this week, since I haven't lost a stinkin' pound.. I wanted to see if this week would make a difference. Breakfast- 1 egg/w/a little shredded cheese & sour cream at 5 a.m. S-Atkins shake-9 a.m. & 3 strawberries at 11 a.m. Lunch-mixed fresh veggies, 2 oz of cojack cheese at 1 p.m. S- 1 oz of almonds, few shreds of jerky at 3 p.m. Dinner-Ham and green beans will have at 7 p.m. How come what I'm eating looks so HUGE compared to everyone elses menu? I remember the days of half a shake for a meal. Take care, Michelle

Michelle.. I am not feeling that I can eat more also..this so scares me!! Then yesteday for some reason, I got full easily... I know lots of people post feeling this way..its just been a long time...since I was easily full...Good Luck..thanks for posting on the log!! Joanie
