Update on little (well little-er) ole me
Hey everyone,
I have been so MIA from here and I miss you all so much! I thought my family had escaping all the viruses and germs all winter.....well, I was wrong!! My whole family (with the exception of Marc) has been taking turns being sick! Yuck! I had my first experience vomitting since surgery. Not fun, a little painful but I survived!
My biggest news is my dear husband was banded yesterday by Dr. Aranow. He is doing very well and was sitting up and talking very coherently about 2 hours after the surgery. He was up and wlaking within 4 hours and after dealing with feeling a little sick to the stomach last night is feeling much better this morning. They are going to release him around 1 this afternoon. He is very excited to start his new life!
I am doing okay with my weight loss. I have been on a plateau for about a month now. I have lost 76 lbs to date and am now about 7 months out. I was scheduled for a fill yesterday but after vomitting all the night before I didn't think it would be a very good time for a fill
I am going to wait about a week or so and then get filled. Just want to make sure it's all out of my system and any swelling that might have happened is down too.
I hope all is well with everyone and now that I am feeling better I hope to be around more!
Eileen

Hi, Eileen!
I'm glad you're feeling better now; we've missed you. Please give Marc my regards and tell him we've made room for him on the losers' bench. Now that he's also a post-op, will the two of you be joining us at the Middlesex post-op support group meeting on the 1st Tues. of April?
Hugs,
Debby
