up coming surgery

Well I have my date for surgery it's April 20th, I'm kind of nervous. I am going to have my medical clearance from my doctor on the 11th. Then on the 12th I see my bariatric surgeon and do my pre-admit at the hospital and then wait for the 20th if all comes out well.

Hello Lydia, Good luck with your upcoming surgery. I hope everything goes well for you. I myself had lap band surgery 2 weeks ago and now I feel great. Hang in there and you'll be losing in no time. Just remember when you are given this tool use it to the best of your ability, it gets easier every day. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Patty

Thank you for your kinds words, I kind of feel somewhat aprehensive, but I know this is the right thing to do. My mom and dad died from heart failure and diabetes complications not to mention cancer too. I am diabetic and hate taking pills and insulin along with watching what I eat. So you see for me it is a must. Thanks again for the encouragement.
