Passing out: Take 2

Well yesterday I was taking a hot shower cause I was cold. Well the temp was hot cause I was cold and taking the shower is cause well, I stink if I don't. (Damn extra skin) ANYWAY... all of a sudden my Blood pressure (I'm assuming that's what it was since it felt like last time) drops and I wake up on the bathroom floor. I felt out of the shower and hit the floor. I busted my head, *****nees, and one shin. I also have a sore chest from hitting it. No bruises on the chest but I have them everyplace else. After the hubby took his shower we went back down to the dungeon and I almost passed out again. Then last night I was on the computer and I started to feel sick all over again. I have an MRI on Wednesday. Here's to hoping they find SOMETHING.

OMG!!! I didn't even think about that. I don't think so. I am on the pill and once Dr. A told the hubby he HAD to use condoms he hasn't bugged me and has used them. I am having food cravings. Can't get enough apples and salt. ****! I have to call the dr. to have my B-12 checked. Guess we could add that to it.

NOT PREGGERS!!!!!!!!! I took a home test and it was negative.

Kathy....did you have blood pressure issues before surgery?  I have had many issues with low blood pressure as they regulated my medicines...I have gone from taking 14 medications to 1!  and let me tell you how many times I fainted before I knew what was really happening!    I have also had so low blood sugar issues lately..they are now monitoring my blood sugars...I am usually between 65 and 80 non fasting...so it causes some light headed ness!

I had High BP before surgery and the first time I passed out was when I was still on my meds. I had my glucose checked and it was 80 and that was fasting. Well, I had water but that doesn't count.

here's hoping they get to the bottom of it...and soon!

No kidding! I just had more pills cut that can lower the BP. Hope it helps.

It almost sounds like low blood sugar?  I'm happy that you didn't get seriously hurt but OMG.. that is scary....

Please let us know how the MRI went if they tell you anything.

Are you eating small meals at all?  Besides feeling sick do you get any other symptoms like mood swings.. sweats.. & shakiness?  My hands also get ICE cold it's horrible.

My sugar at times crashes terribly since the WLS.. about 2 years out it started doing that... I actually test it when I feel the symptoms come on.. & it's usually around low 50's (very scary)

I have the mood swings but that's because I have been a bad girl with my happy pills (anti-depressants) and the B-12 being low. Don't have sweats or shakes. Well, after I pass out I have the sweats but that was how it was when the blood sugar was 124 and the BP was 80/20 or 40.
