Looking For An ANGEl?!

Hi Everyone ! It's me Mary, I hope you all remember me. I used to post all the time but haven't In a while. I currently live part time In NYC and part time In CT. Even though I haven't posted In a while I lurk all the time just to see how everyone is doing and stuff. I haven't forgotten about you gals/guys! You are all a wonderful bunch of folks!!! Well here's an update on me, I have decided to have an open BPD/DS In NYC with Dr. Roslin at Lenox Hill Hospital, Instead of the open distal RNY here In Connecticut. I have just decided for me that this would be the best surgery for me. I don't knock any other type of WLS, I feel they are all wonderful tools and each person depending on thier health/situation should talk with thier doctors and figure out which one Is to thier most advantage for thier personal situation. And for me that Is the open BPD/DS(Duodenal Switch). My surgery Is In less than three weeks and I am sooooo very sick with nerves. Don't get me wrong, I know I have a case of the pre-op jitters but I am excited as well!!! Trouble I still haven't found a volunteer for an ANGEL! I promise to pay It forward and be the best AnGEL someone can have, once I have healed and I am up and running again!!! I have posted at the duodenal switch forum board and on the NY board and still no luck. So If there are any volunteers up to the task, I would be so grateful to them If they would let me know. Hi Mary I saw Deb last Friday night she looks fantastic! We haven't heard from Julie or Tara in a while. Although--I cannot voluteer to be your angel..(just too much on my plate these days..and it would not be fair to you)..but I want to wish you all the best as you go through this life changing surgery! Joanie! Thank you so much for the kind words. I totally understand that you can't be my ANGEL. I know life can be crazy and busy at times. But luckily I have found a wonderful woman named Ginger at the yahoo DS group who has volunteered to be my ANGEL. She will post there as well as here for me along with my other DS friend named Margie! But I so do appreciate you keeping me In your thoughts and prayers. I do promise to be a more active member of this board once I am up and running after this life changing suregry. Oh and by the way you look great. What a difference from the two pics! well I will post again soon! look for the posts from margie R and my angel Ginger about me. She will keep you all updated with my progress!
