I had surgery on Wednesday. There were no rooms on the normal 6th floor so I was on the 7th floor and had a private room. I like the private room but miss that I didn't have the nurses who are more familiar with my surgery. But everything went well. Good think I have my wits about me on Thursday in the middle of the night...a nurse tried to give me tylenol in pill form and not crushed. But I am home. My back is pretty sore and my front is getting better. I am very excited to be on this side now. Thank you to all the people who took the time to post well wishes for me. Love, Kelly

Welcome home Kelly and congratulations!!! Good for you for having your wits about that Tylenol. That would have been rough. As I'm sure you've seen us all post many times, every day does get better. Don't forget to sip and walk whenever you can. Maggie

Congrats Kelly, I am having surgery tomorrow. I think I met you in Dr. Duffy's office. Any words of wisdom before I go in tomorrow? God bless and I wish you a speedy recovery. Regards, Donna

I think your right, that was me. I do not know if they are words of wisdom but.....I was very calm that day. They had me come in early and I went in later than planned but I still remained very calm. They didn't have a room for me on the normal floor well you read that already so just remember everything they told us and you will be fine. Try to get out of that bed asap. It will kill your back! And walk the halls as soon as you can. Best wishes for you and your family. I hope you have a speedy recovery! Kelly
