Hi, Peter! You're absolutely right; it was a terrific evening! Too bad more people weren't there; they missed a wonderful time. It was the 1st time I've danced in about 10 yrs. I used to love dancing and last night reminded me of that. (Would you believe that 17 yrs. ago I took lessons at Arthur Murray and took part in ballroom dancing competitions?! Then I married a man with arthritic knees and stopped dancing except for the occasional slow dance or a line dance with "the girls" at weddings and bar mitzvahs. Swing dancing is great exercise. I wonder if it's the kind of thing (like riding a bike) that comes back to you if you try it again after a number of yrs.?) I still can't dance as many fast dances in a row without taking a break as I used to yrs. ago, but being able to stay on the dance floor thru 2 fast dances is a definite improvement over the way I've been for the last few yrs.! Are you implying that my clothes are too loose? Just because during the Macarena when I tried the "jump and make a 1/4 turn" move my pants started slipping down a bit? Since Joanne won't read your post online, why don't you print it and leave it somewhere she'll see it? If my husband publicly wrote such nice things about me, I'd like to see it. Kelly Kern said that she'd organize a Sun. evening get-together for line dancing at the Cadillac Ranch in Southington. They offer free beginner lessons on Sundays. After last night, I'm sure we'd all have a good time trying that. We just have to find a date that works for most people. Debby

So glad to hear you all had such a wonderful time. Wish I could have been there. As you know I am batteling health issues and my mom is in CCU as well. She had surgery on Monday for a torn rotator cuff, and then had chest pain and had to have surgery again on Wed. to have a pace maker put in. I have been so frustrated because I have only felt well enough to go see her once. When it rains it pours. Glad you all had fun. Sounds like I missed a really good time. Guess I'll just have to take back my pretty dress. Maggie
