Welcome Home NA, I am so sorry to hear about the coughing. That is what I hated the most but give it a couple of days and it will go away. I bet you are so happy to be on the losing side and glad you are here. Toya

Welcome home Tash. I'm so glad your surgery went well! Be sure to keep a firm pillow handy for when you need to cough, and press it to your abdomen. It helps a lot. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. If you're up for a visitor, I'd love to dop by. hugs (gently!) Lisa

Welcome home So glad to hear you're home and doing well. If they gave you one of those breathing exercises, try doing a set of 10 breaths every hour. This really helps get the anethesia up out of your lungs. Congratulations on being a new loser Maggie

Thanks for all of your kind words. This has been way painful, but I know it's going to get better, eventually.... Have been using the spirometer, but will start using it more. The doc called in something heavier than the tylenol w/codeine, so we can see if that will work. Am walking as much as possible and sleeping hardly at all. You guys are wonderful and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Can't wait to actually be able to sit on the bench comfortably. Smooches, NA
