OMG! HAPPY DANCING HERE -Sorta long

I just got my date for surgery As some of you may remember, I posted here a few months ago after the Pulmonologist refused to sign off, saying my lungs were really bad and I would die on the table. I was pretty upset, but finally decided not to go down without a fight. I have been wearing my oxygen faithfully every night for four months and I bring the portable tank to work with me for extra support. I went back to the doctors today, and he said there was a big difference from then until now! He says the lung issues will never go away, but he sees that if we are totally prepared for it, surgery should be OK. Then I met with Dr. Barba who is a sweety, and he gave me a date of May 9th! That is pending insurance approval, so everyone keep your fingers crossed please!

Thanks for the support Maggie! I am going to call Dr. Barba's office on Monday and make sure they submitted paperwork to the insurance company, and then I am calling BC/BS directly!
