has this ever happened to you?
Sorry guys, I left the office yesterday early because of the snow. I saw it coming and got the heck out of dodge. Turns out it was a good idea. Sher, Everyone, thanks for the advice. I dont feel so alone now. I guess a 4 week plateau is normal. I will hang in there. I will step up the exercise and see if I can make it stop. I have lost inches. 4 inches in fact in my bust, waist and hips. And my clothes ARE bigger. I was just worried because I kept saying I didnt go thru all of this to loose 40lbs and thats it. Am I THAT insulin resistant? It was freaking me out. I will try harder on the exercise and see if I can break the cycle of this stupid plateau. Thanks so much for comforting me. You guys are the best. I love you all very much.
Blessings
Lauren
Hi Sweetie!
No, you are not alone. I'm a pretty slow looser too, but still going in the right direction. I have realized over the past 3 months that there is no race, I'm so much healthier and smaller, and just taking things one day at a time. I eat so much better, feel better, and sure, I'm not a size 6 and probably never will be.
But, I went skiing this weekend. The "old" Tammy NEVER would have done that. You just have to keep reminding yourself of your progress, and pat yourself on the back. It will come off, and there is no race.
Love,
Tammy
