Hi gang- What a great workout--I love the water aerobics. The Wed instructor really gets our heart rates up and does lots of leg/arm and tummy routines. In the past 8 weeks I went from knowing no one in there..to getting to know everyone. There is a six week break between classes...so we are going to do our own class. We are going to pay the open swim price for the pool (our local rec center) and all meet and do the exercises we remember. OK..scale not moving...I feel your pain Sandy--we sound like we are in the same boat with the plateau..and I am six pounds from being just overweight! Any advice from anyone--would be appreciated. I know my night time grazing is not helping... B-2 poached eggs on lite rye toast 13g S-skipping my mornng snack... L-Chicken Caesar salad-13g S-I am going to try to skip this too...but 1/2 Atkins bar if I need it 10g D-I am having a baby shower for a co worker at a local restaurant. We are ordering from the menu...so some kind of chicken dish may be in order. I expect to hear from EVERYone on this board today..C'mon..help me here..let me know what you have been eating! I just got a brainstorm. I am going to check some of my menus from last Sept and Oct on Fitday.com and see what I was eating then..and try to simulate it! I will let you know...tomorrow... Joanie

My Mexican Lasagna turned out pretty good. I kinda threw stuff in, but it worked out great. My husband had seconds even though he gave me dirty looks when I told him what I was making, so I guess that's a compliment, lol. B- Wheaties, been craving cereal for a long time! S- 1-2 rice cakes L- Leftover mex lasagna S- Detour bar, try to skip this one though D- Leftovers... reg or mex lasagna S- SF Jello I haven't been tracking my food too good, but I ordered a pocket (calculator sized) food log. It should be here tomorrow, I can't wait! Have a great day! Carmen PS- Mexican Lasagna Brown- 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken.. whatever) w/ chopped onion and green pepper Drain then add: Taco seasoning 1 can diced tomatoes (I used some w/ chiles added) 1 can corn (drained) 1 can black beans (I used FF refried beans instead) I added 1 can Campbells pepperjack soup which was great, but needed 1 small can tomatoe paste to thicken it up Let everything cook together for a few minutes then layer: *Tortillas (Flour, corn, low-carb all work fine) *Meat mixture *Cheese (Low-fat Fiesta blend is good, try adding some pepper jack if you like a little extra spice) -Repeat Bake at 375-400 for 40 mins until cheese starts to brown. Enjoy!

Good Afternoon Joanie and everyone, I understand about plateaus. I am on my third in three months. Dont' know what to tell you except to keep plugging along. I think I may have broken through this one though, trying hard to keep the carbs down. I need to start following Kathy's menu! I know that if I eat later like around 7 or so, I tend not to snack at night. I fill myself up with protein, and it sticks with me. B - total protein L - carb countdown yogurt S - peanuts D - baked chicken S - SF popsicle Pam
